Eleonora Iuvara was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month for December 2016.
The staff and spouses of Lighthouse Placement gathered at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel for some holiday cheer and merry making. “We ended the year on a strong note and are looking forward to continued success in 2017. We are grateful to have the most amazing team of professionals” said David Fogel. During the event, David delivered a speech that included a personal message to each member of the staff.

Lissa Jerez was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month October 2016. This award is given to the staff member that goes “above and beyond” the call of duty. This is the SIXTEENTH time Lissa has received this award since joining Lighthouse in June of 2008! Lissa has earned this award more times than any other employee in the company and she certainly deserves the recognition. Lissa is in contention for this award almost every month. (more…)
Laura Vecchi was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month for August AND September 2016. This award is given to the staff member that goes “above and beyond” the call of duty. Laura Vecchi started with Lighthouse in March of 2016 as a Technical Recruiter handling the manufacturing discipline. Laura came to Lighthouse as a transfer from another Staffing 360 Subsidiary. Gayle Silvestro was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month for July, 2016. This award is given to the staff member that goes “Above and Beyond” the call of duty. Gayle has been with Lighthouse in the Accounting Department since March of 2014. Gayle is always willing to take on a new task or pick up others responsibilities. After an injury this past month, Gayle showed her dedication to her job by working from home when she could not be in the office. It was a busy month in the payroll department with insurance switching and Gayle’s ability to research, learn, and adapt made the process a breeze! Thank you for all your hard work Gayle and congratulations!
Food, Fun and Sun! The Lighthouse company clambake was Saturday, July 30th in York, Maine. This year was a Garden Party theme. The weather made for a perfect day of eating lobster by the ocean. There were fresh flower decorations and many garden games to play. Everyone took turns getting behind the microphone for some karaoke. President, Alison Fogel said, “David and I love to host this event each year at our home. It gives us a chance to get together in a casual setting outside of the office. It is our way of saying “Thank You” to our amazing staff”. (more…)

Donna has been with Lighthouse since March of 2015. This month, Donna had 5 starts and received a Gold Level Achievement Award! Lighthouse recruiters Laura Vecchi and Chris Najem went on a clean room tour at one of our top client’s facility. The purpose of the visit was to experience a clean room and actually walk through a manufacturing floor in order to further understand the environment. Laura said, “Yesterday’s tour was a great learning experience. We were given an in depth tour of each department, which gave me a better understanding of the product line and everything that goes into it. It also has given me a better perspective on each position and will help me screen for qualified candidates”. Chris added “The tour gave me a good picture of what my candidates will be testing and the tools they will be using. It was great to get a visual perspective of the technicians’ work place and it was exciting to see such an amazing facility”.

Two dedicated employees from Lighthouse Placement Services, Lissa Jerez and Bryan Johnson, were selected to go on the annual Presidents Club trip to Aruba. CEO of 360 Staffing Solutions, Matt Briand stated, “S360 has roughly 175 employees and the 11 (selected) represent the ‘Best of the Best’ with regard to total annual Gross Profit production in representation of three subsidiaries, from both the US and UK. It takes tremendous commitment and focus over the course of a year to earn a seat at President’s Club”. Lissa and Bryan were thankful to have been part of this wonderful experience. “It is said that Aruba is ‘One Happy Island’ and it is truly just that!” said Lissa Jerez. Karyn Liberatore was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month for April 2016. This award is given to the staff member that has gone “Above and Beyond” the call of duty. Karyn started at Lighthouse as a Recruiter in April 2016 and has recruited in all areas of our wide range of technical disciplines over the years. Lindsey Bombard started with Lighthouse in October 2008 as an Accounting Assistant. She made the transition Technical Recruiter in February 2013 and hit the ground running like she had been a recruiter all of her career. Lindsey gives 100% of herself to her work. Bryan Johnson was voted Lighthouse Employee of the Month for February 2016. This award is given to the staff member that has gone “Above and Beyond” the call of duty. Bryan started with Lighthouse as a Recruiter in July 2014 and quickly shot up to the top of the leaderboard. He handled the manufacturing discipline and learned the technology with ease. He has a good grasp of the industry and truly cares about his candidates and clients. He is a quick study when it comes to matching candidates to job orders and he is organized and methodical in his approach. (more…)
