Quality Assurance Engineer
Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) Quality Engineering predictive program execution and Zero Defects Position is for Individual Contributor Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently make value added assessments while utilizing Teammates & Leaders for developmental growth. Program Quality Engineer QAE, reviews Product Build Records , Contract Requirements, and Systems Technical Specifications with some assistance from Program Leads. Effective communication Review Build Book Documentation Test Records Non Conformance Reports First Article Inspection (FAI) Product Process Verification (PPV) Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include: Electronics, Mechanical and/or Software Design elements, Experience in Manufacturing Factory Processes, Configuration Control Board (CCB) membership, Control of Non-Conforming Material, Material Review Board (MRB) Protocols, Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data Collection and Analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies Industry Experience in Defense Electronics Manufacturing of Complex Electronic Sub-Assemblies, LRUs and Complete Systems. Prior Industry experience or Technical Internships is expected. Assignments are in various areas of a Major Defense Electronics company. Communication, Presentation, and effective Leadership skills are expected.
Skills Required Knowledge of and Demonstrated experience of: Complex Military / Defense Electronic Assemblies (CCA / Sub Assy / Box Build) Direct industry work experience / quality engineering work on high-tech electronics. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance (this requires a US Citizenship). Outstanding communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork participation. Capacity and motivation for hard work.
Skills Preferred: FAA Certifications / DMIR Cert a PLUS
Experience Required: 5 – 10 years minimum experience
Education Required: Technical Degree
