Precision Electro-Mechanical Assembler I

Temp-to-perm Opportunity

Essential Functions – include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Ability to assemble precision parts per print
  • Perform delicate soldering operations under a microscope
  • Inspection of parts for quality and compliance to drawing details and dimensions
  • Maintain a very high level of quality with an acute eye for details
  • Masking, demasking and ink marking of parts
  • Hand torch soldering
  • Must be able to recognize deficiencies and bring to the attention of supervisor
  • Operate hand tools and measuring tools including Drop gauge, Pressure test equipment, Torque meter, and Torque wrench
  • Ability to work directly with technicians to assure assembled parts meet test performance parameters
  • Must keep a neat and orderly work area

Education/Experience:

  • High School degree
  • A Minimum of three years related experience in Precision Electro-Mechanical assembly working in a high volume production line with close tolerance assemblies

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent dexterity with hand to eye coordination for very small parts
  • Able to read detailed Blue Prints with isometric tolerancing
  • Knowledge of in-process assembly procedures
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good basic mathematical aptitude required for part dimensioning and stack up
  • Must have the flexibility to work overtime as required to meet customer commitments
  • Soldering certification J-STD-001
